A visual exploration of Guernsey in Megalithic times

This show highlights the landscapes and culture experienced by some of the earliest inhabitants of Guernsey, whose legacy includes a significant number of dolmens, menhirs and passage graves.

​

As a result of an art residency earlier in the year, Vesna created a collection of artworks capturing her impressions of her long walks along the coastline, the ancient stones and landscapes that hold a deeper human connection interlinked through distant past of worship and imagination. 

 

Transformation is a constant theme throughout her paintings and drawings that reimagine the collective stories told from the past, her subjects in a perpetual state of shifting and transcending presence, and seeking for new meaning and purpose.​​​
